Loppet Invite Meet
Loppet Invite, Jan. 9th, 2016 Participating Teams Henry Sibley Eden Prairie ISD 196 Burnsville Osseo Winona/Cotter Prior Lake Lakeville North High School Lakeville South High School Highland Senior High School Robbinsdale Armstrong High Irondale High School Northfield High School Champlin Park High School Park-Woodbury-East Ridge (P.W.E.R.) Nordic Course Update The course will be a combination of natural snow ski trails and man made loop. We will send out exact race course later next week. We are hoping to do a combination of back 40 some of Judy Loop and Hap loop for both classic and skate races. Currently they are still making snow for the man made loop and hope to have much of it done by next weekend. This is the homologated race course, nice and wide and one lap. The Judy loop is the part that drops down to bassett creek and the Hap loop is the 3km man made loop. If there is not enough snow depth on the Judy Loop for a classic track so skiers will need to classic ski without. On the man made snow we will have a double set track on the right, we hope to try and wipe it out with a snowmobile after the classic race but it may be hard to remove. Picking one course for both races allows us to focus on getting this course ready.
